Richard at Burning Man
Well, here is the moment that many of you have been waiting for. I finally got Richard to stand still long enough to get a couple of photos of him during our Burning Man trip. BTW, we will be writing more about the trip when we catch up with life. The trip, with out-of-town visitors arriving immediately afterward and staying for 10 days, really put us behind. I’m behind on work, Richard is catching up with photos, and the house is trashed. But on to the pictures.
This is a picture of Richard outside the visitor’s center during our visit to Bodie, an abandoned gold mining town on the way to Burning Man. He’s the REAL Bad Man of Bodie.
And this is Richard at the start of the dust storm that eventually drove us from Burning Man a day early. Lots of men wore sarongs (me too; I felt totally at home in that regard!) and I was thrilled when Richard starting wearing one. Now I’ve got to convince him to keep doing it. Maybe a kilt? He didn’t like how he looked in this one, but I think he looks delicious. I got a really cute one of him on his bike, but he’s too recognizable in it, I’m afraid.
AHH!! I just found this site a few days ago and I have been reading all of the archives. I just finished them all and I must say WONDERFUL

I don’t think I’d ever seen a picture of the elusive Richard before -that’s the trouble with always being behind the camera, eh? He’s a cutie, though - you two are such an adorable couple!

WOW! We finally get to see what Richard looks like. I think we all need more photos of Richard and maybe some of you together. I just finished reading all of the archives and WONDERFUL is right! I love it and I wish I had a life just like yours but mine is a D/s online and I just wish I could pack up and be with him but I can’t :0(

You must forgive me. As a gent of a certain age, I was raised not to be cognizant of other gents and their physical beauty…too homoerotic or something. I will, however, break that barrier and point out in the first picture your man has the best hat since “Sex in Texas” went away. In the 2nd picture, I seem to recognize a similarity to a movie character. Was your man ever in one of those Star Wars films? I think I recognize him.
So..how was burning man…and why didn’t you drop by on your way back down I-80?

Richard looks like a fine man. The first shot especially made me smile–during the one photo session I’ve seduce my guy into so far, he put on his hat exactly the same way. Must be a Dom thing.

Hi everybody! Sorry for the delay in responding AND posting. We’ve both been working on/thinking about Burning Man posts (and just went to the LA Burning Man Decompression) but have been too swamped to wrap them up. And we’re heading out this weekend for a family event, so I don’t think we’ll get to them before next week at best.

Thursday’s Child: You are right - it’s because he is always behind the camera. I’m hoping to do better at photographing him in future. I’m a bit shy about it because he’s so good at it & I’m just “point & shoot”.
Captured kitty: I think some together photos would be awesome too. So glad you liked the archives and I hope you get to do a real-time D/s relationship SOON. Online is better than no D/s though, right?
Upton, I WISH we could have visited, but actually we went home via Yosemite (gorgeous but yikes on traffic/tough driving). Spent the night in Fresno, which was a trip all its own.

If you find that you and richard are interested in Kilts and other Non-bifurcated garments you might want to check out X marks the Scot forums. there is much there about kilts and such and were to buy inexpensive and nice looking garments of that type without getting some of the crap that is out there on the web.
